Starting from the 15th of August and continuing to 26th of September 2021, the European Foundation for Support of Culture (EUFSC) is presenting the InClassica International Music Festival in Dubai, UAE, in collaboration with SAMIT Event Group. The Festival features major and world-renowned compositions performed by a total of 37 soloists, 12 conductors and 7 orchestras, coming to Dubai from all over the world. Hosting venues will be the glorious Dubai Opera and Coca-Cola Arena.

This year, the European Foundation for Support of Culture (EUFSC) and SAMIT Event Group, will bring the esteemed InClassica International Music Festival to Dubai, for the first time in the event’s illustrious history.

This April, the InClassica International Music Festival will open its doors with a grand opening concert featuring legendary Argentine-Swiss pianist, Martha Argerich, and Swiss violinist, Maria Solozobova.

Next May, celebrated Maltese violinist Carmine Lauri will return to these shores for a concert at the Mediterranean Conference Centre (MCC) with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) as part of the InClassica Malta International Music Festival. Lauri is a recipient of the prestigious National Order of Merit and the 2015 Malta Society of Arts Gold Medal, and is best known for his work as co-leader of the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO), a post he has held since 2001 and one which has seen him lead the orchestra in recordings for blockbuster films including Star Wars, Harry Potter and The King’s Speech.

Newsbook.com.mt spoke to the festival’s Artistic Director, Mro. Alan Chircop, who explained how InClassica — which will be held over 25 consecutive days of evening performances — will feature orchestras, soloists and conductors from around the world in a celebration of culture, international collaboration and live performance.

Many world-class soloists are set to perform at InClassica, including Martha Argerich, Rudolf Buchbinder, Gautier Capuçon, Danielle De Niese, Daniel Hope, Gidon Kremer, Denis Matsuev, Andreas Ottensammer, Grigory Sokolov and Maxim Vengerov.

In just a few months, one of Malta’s most sought after conference centres will be transformed into a stage for some of the best contemporary classical musicians from around the world. InClassica is a celebration of classical music that will take place over 25 consecutive days at none other than the Mediterranean Conference Centre.
